My client is an established firm in the engineering manufacturing sector, based in Daventry and commutable from Rugby, Leamington Spa, Banbury, Coventry, Wellingborough and Northampton. They are currently looking for a skilled CNC Miller to join their team. The Role: - CNC Milling on 3/4-axis machines - Working on Fanuc-based controls - Working from drawings - Quality checking parts using various hand tools - Maintaining machinery, removing swarf and routine oiling/greasing etc - Working independently and as part of a team - Ensure full PPE is worn and always work safely, with consideration for other employees - Carry out any other duties as required and deemed appropriate - Complies with all Company rules including all Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements - Afternoon shifts are Mon Thurs 14:15 to 23:15, Friday - 13:15 - 18:15 Minimum Skills / Experience Required: - Experience Operating CNC 3/4-axis DMG Mori Mills or other Fanuc-based CNC Milling machines - CNC Miller on Fanuc or other G-code controls, such as Haas - Able to quality check own parts - Able to work under pressure and to deadlines with a high level of quality standards achieved - Motivated and excellent team player - Able to commute to the Daventry area The Package: - Starting salary up to £27k + 20 shift allowance dependent on experience - Enhanced Pension scheme - 4 from each party - Holidays - 22 Days plus Statutory Bank Holidays, rising by 1 day per year after 2 years service up to 26 days - Free onsite.
