We are looking for CNC machinists who can perform the following duties: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Loads material in machine. Starts machine and observes cutting operation. Ability to finish set up of a machine with minimal assistance and within a reasonable time frame. Makes offsets independently to finish the set up process. Sets up and replaces tools without supervision. Recognizes tool wear before dimensions are affected. Posts and loads programs into the machine. Ability to make basic changes to programs on machines. Compares numerical data display with specifications on operations sheet. Adjusts tool lengths and fixture offsets if required. Monitors tooling usage for maximum cost effectiveness. Responsible for the accuracy and quality of the part. Authorized to stop processes to ensure quality. Responsible for machine turnovers to adjacent shift operators. Works overtime as required. May provide assistance, guidance, and knowledge to other Machinists. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; a minimum of one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
