Civil Engineering Project Manager EFK Moen, LLC www.efkmoen.com EFK Moen, LLC, a civil engineering design consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Lead Highway Design Engineer/Project Manager for a full-time position managing DOT projects in our Fairview Heights, Illinois office. The successful candidate should be highly motivated with a proven track record of leadership as this is an opportunity for expansion and growth in this newly created position/role. Job Description: Collaboratively work in partnership with our Fairview Heights Manager to lead civil engineering design projects as a Project Manager in a team-oriented environment. Project emphasis is transportation engineering design for both public and private sectors which range in scope from small to multimillion-dollar designs. Services are provided to a wide range of clients that include state DOTs and other governmental agencies-municipal, county and state. Responsibilities: Lead engineer/project manager on highway/roadway design projects Manage a detailed schedule and work plan Provide consistent project updates regarding strategy and progress to various stakeholders Coordinate with other design disciplines Work as part of a team to deliver quality design that adheres to the project budget and schedule Provide training to staff-level engineers Responsible and accountable for client/customer satisfaction and technical project execution Performs other job duties as assigned Qualifications/Skills: Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college/university required Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Illinois required 6-10+ years of experience in civil/highway design Proven track record of leading multiple design projects Experience with Project Management methodologies and best practices Proficient in MicroStation, Geopak, InRoads and/or ORD design software required Working knowledge of DOT/AASHTO Standards DOT project experience preferred Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication and organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Must be authorized to work in the United States EFK Moen, LLC offers its full-time employees: Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Company Holidays Paid Parental Leave Health, Dental and Vision Insurance 401(k) with No-Match Company Contribution Short and Long-Term disability coverage Term Life Insurance Professional License exam fee reimbursement Bonus Opportunities Support of professional organization membership and activities Work-life balance through a flexible, casual work environment A culture of mentoring and teamwork EFK Moen is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free Workplace.
