POSITION: CHARTERED PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNTANTJOB TYPE: Full Time LOCATION: Grande Prairie, AB & Area JOB SUMMARY: The Agency is assisting in the confidential recruitment of a full time Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA). If you are an experienced CPA interested in working with a dynamic local firm with a potential for partnership, then this opportunity is for you! The successful individual will be dedicated to exceeding clients unique needs, have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. RESPONSIBILITIES: Preparing and analyzing year-end corporate, proprietor, and partnership financial statements at various levels including but not limited to compilations and review engagements Managing and overseeing all aspects of accounting, including bookkeeping and compilation of client data Prepare correspondence, technical reports, client summaries and presentations outlining engagement findings, facts and highlights Collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet client service requests and assignments Dealing with deadlines in a constructive and professional manner to meet client needs Participate in business development initiatives and identify new business opportunities REQUIREMENTS: Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation Proven experience as a CPA (minimum 3 years public accounting experience preferred)Applied knowledge of Case Ware, Tax Preparation software, SAGE, Quick Books, XERO, and Excel including customized spreadsheets In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and practices Strong analytical and problem-solving skillinteractioncellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Ability to work independently and as part of a team BENEFITS: Competitive salary package Opportunities for professional growth and.
