Bachman’s Cedar Acres has openings for Cashiers who are skilled assisting customers, maintaining store appearance and providing accurate, timely and friendly service. Don’t wait, apply now ! POSITION DUTIES: Work directly on sales floor, and registers, throughout the store, assisting customers. Maintain store appearance with general cleaning, caring for plants, dusting, pricing, stocking and displaying merchandise. Assist with carryout and cart retrieval. Use the telephone to assist and answer customers questions and provides information. Provide accurate, timely and friendly service to both Bachman’s customers and potential customers. Take orders for outdoor sales. Assist the floral department as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrates excellent customer relations and communication skills is required. Must be able to read and write English, perform basic math skills. High energy level. Basic computer skills are required. Demonstrated ability to follow through on work direction. Past register experience - preferred. Work is performed in areas with weather extremes of heat and cold, and wet conditions. The position requires standing/walking on hard surface during the entire shift, working at a fast pace. Must be able to lift 50lbs. with frequent bending. Don’t settle, come grow with us!
