Northeast Florida Builders Association Apprenticeship Program (NEFBA) is now accepting applications for Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing & Sheet Metal Apprenticeships (Applications are accepted by appointment only) March 13, 2020-June 13, 2020.Mission: Nearly 45 years of offering a quality construction apprenticeship program providing career preparation for the workforce to meet the needs of the employer, industry and Northeast community thereby enhancing the quality of life in Northeast Florida.About: Registered Apprenticeship program through Florida Department of Education. 4-Year Program. Structured training system with NCCER curriculum. On-the-job training paid hourly wage by employer 40+ hours per week. Classroom instruction, two nights per week August-April each year."Earn while You Learn"100 % Debt Free Education. Continuous Employment for OJT. Compatible with Post 9/11 GI Bill. 10% Wage Increase every year.Requirements:(Applications are accepted by appointment only. Carpentry applications accepted year-round) Complete Application. Maintain Valid Florida Driver's License. Vehicle Registration. Social Security Card. Copy of High School Diploma or GED Certificate. Interview with Industry Partners for AdmissionCertifications:· Florida Department of Education Completion of Apprenticeship Certificate.
