Mann Developments Ltd is in construction business since 2 decades, the main focus on the company is developing subdivision, single family homes and multifamily units in lower mainland and interior BC Position: Carpenters (NOC 72310) (Permanent/Full Time)No of Vacancies: 3 Job description: • Reading and interpreting project drawings and specifications, ensuring construction complies with design. • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials• Constructing walls, roofs and floors. • Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware. • Completing required repairs and handling general deficiencies. • Immediately reporting incidents or near-miss incidents to the Site Superintendent. • Ensuring ladders, scaffolds and other devices are properly certified and in good working order. • Inspecting and repairing defects in exterior air barrier to maintain compliance with step code• Maintaining cleanliness of construction sites, organizing materials and disposing debris. • Completing other tasks as assigned. Education: High School Diploma, or equivalent. Experience: Minimum 1 year of carpentry experience Language Requirement: English Salary: $31.00 hourly for 40 hours Overtime Pay: $46.50 Hourly (After 8 hours daily and 40 hours weekly) Job Location: All over lower mainland & Interior.
