Work Location: Bradenton, FL As part of this role, you will: Perform cardiovascular ultrasound studies, including echocardiogram and carotid ultrasound imaging for physician review Uses cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological, diagnostic information and images Create a preliminary sonographer's finding report for each exam What you need to bring to this role: Graduate of a formal diagnostic medical Sonography program or cardiovascular technology program that is accredited by the Commission of Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) Bachelor of Science Degree in diagnostic medical sonography is desirable Current certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS or CCI) as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer Current compliance with continuing medical education (CME) requirements for specialty as appropriate Current life support training certification Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus Excellent listening and interpersonal skills Ability to effectively interact with patients/customers in stressful situations Tech savviness and comfortable with technology Polished in both personal appearance and interactions Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion Detail oriented with an organized mind-set Must be flexible, resourceful, and able to troubleshoot Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities Pride in the job you do and the image you present to our patients & visitors **MCR Health is a drug free workplace.
