The Role: As a Painting Technician, you will play a pivotal role in applying protective or decorative coatings to surfaces, using a spray gun. This includes cleaning surfaces from grease and dirt with materials like lacquer thinner, turpentine, soap, and water. Responsibilities: Clean products, apply masking tape, and fill cavities for a smooth surface. Mix coating liquid, select desired colors, and apply coatings with precision. Clean and maintain spraying equipment and brushes. Applying masking tape over parts and areas that are not to be coated. Uphold health, safety, and welfare policies. Requirements: Previously worked as a Paint Sprayer, Painting Technician or in a similar role within automotive industry. Must have experience in automotive paint spraying. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and reliability. Prioritise workload and work well in time-constrained environments. Good written and verbal communication skills.
