Description: Global Banking Technology are looking to recruit a Business Analyst/Product Owner to join their Data Analytics team. The successful candidate will help form the vision, roadmap and goals for the application/projects they will be aligned to, working with business stakeholders and development teams globally, to deliver robust and sustainable business software solutions using agile techniques. They will also be responsible for ensuring requirements are appropriately understood, documented, owned, and actioned. Bachelor's Degree in Information/Computer Science or related field Certification in Project Management/Business Analysis/Agile methodologies Required Skills: Candidate must have 7 years+ experience working as a product owner/business analyst on technical programs and projects in large complex fast-paced environments. Candidate must have a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements using agile principles and techniques. Candidate must be versed in technical concepts to be able to understand implementation details, including working knowledge of relational databases as well as have moderate SQL skills to self-sufficiently query and analyses data. Development background is a plus. Proficient with MS Office applications: Excel, MS Project, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint Desired Skills: Prior experience of working in the financial services industry.
