TheCity Colleges of Chicago is currently in the midst of a collaborative effort to review and revise CCC programs and practices to ensurestudents leave CCC college-ready, career-ready and prepared to pursue their life's goals.CCC includes 7 colleges: Richard J.Daley College, Kennedy-King College, Malcolm X College, Olive-Harvey College, Harry S Truman College, Harold Washington College and WilburWright College. The system also oversees: the Washburne Culinary Institute, the French Pastry School, 2 restaurants, five ChildDevelopment Centers, the Center for Distance learning, the Workforce Institute, the public broadcast station WYCC-TELEVISION Channel twenty and radiostation WKKC-FM 89.3FM. Duties You must demonstrate excellence in teaching, commitment to integrating newtechnologies in the learning process and the expertise to inspire, motivate and empower students to succeed.You are required to postyour syllabi on Blackboard and to enter your final grades on-line in PeopleSoft.All CCC employees are required to adhere to CCCCustomer Service Excellence standards. Requirements You must have at least a M.S. inBiology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Zoology, Biotechnology, Biological Sciences or Master's degree and eighteen graduate credithours in Biology or related disciplines, and relevant teaching background. We prefer applicants with knowledge of Blackboard LearningManagement System.
