A local premier care organisation is now looking for a Healthcare Assistant HCA with elderly care experience to join their staff bank as a Bank Care Assistant, which will give you the option to pick up shifts at care homes across the area as and when you want. You won’t be limited to just one home but will be able to move across multiple Northumberland / Tyneside care homes within a radius of about 2 - 5 miles for extra flexibility. You will need access to a car. As a Bank Care Assistant, you’ll help ensure residents gets the support they need when there are absences in the team, such as due to sickness or annual leave. Whether through assisting with daily living activities or through conversation and companionship, you’ll play a key role in ensuring each residents gets the highest quality and consistency of care possible. This is a bank position for a Care Assistant ad-hoc shifts. Person specification: Essential Previous experience in elderly care Essential UK driving licence and access to personal vehicle Desirable Level 2 or Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
