If successful, you will be working full-time hours.The Occupational Therapy team at Maxxima are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist in Luton. If successful, you will be working full-time hours from Monday to Friday. As an Occupational Therapist, you will backss and manage a caseload of emergency care & acute medicine. Previous working experience in NHS is essential for this role. Position: Occupational Therapist Banding: 6Payrate: £24-27 per hour Location: Luton Hours: Full time Duration: 3 months contract Essential skills: - HCPC registered - To perform advanced occupational therapeutic backssment of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions, to determine a diagnosis, formulate and deliver an appropriate, individualised treatment programme - To hold responsibility for own caseload and be responsible for a defined area of the service/particular patient group, working autonomously within this area. - To plan, supervise, educate and backss the performance of occupational therapy students on placement within the acute medicine area, maintaining Local universities placement standards. - With support from the specialist occupational therapist contribute to the design and implementation of evidence-based audits and research projects to further clinical practice and improve service delivery. - Relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy NOTE: We are unable to support or accept applications from candidates who are residents within the Red or Amber list of the Code of practice for the international recruitment of health and social care personnel in England, based on the World Health Organisation WHO Workforce Support and Safeguard List.
