Main Job Duties: To manage a defined caseload of service users from the adult in-patient mental health service under the supervision of a senior Occupational Therapist. The post holder will work as part of an integrated multi-disciplinary team and in partnership with other agencies and services, in line with the Care Programme Approach to promote recovery and social inclusion. To apply person centred principles and evidence-based practice to backss, plan, implement and evaluate occupational therapy interventions. To carry out interventions in hospital and in the community including home visits. Specific Skills/Experience/Training Required: Band 5 OT Experience Experience and knowledge working within mental health / Ideally within the NHS UK based experience in a relevant setting Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment Experience completing backssments for discharge planning Education: Degree level or more qualification in Occupational Therapy.
