The company has used this experience to expand our service offerings to other agencies within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of Defense (DoD), and other Federal Civilian Agencies. Position Overview Pantheon Data has a need for an AWS Solution Architect with experience in hosting and running Microsoft applications in the AWS GovCloud. This role focuses on setting up Active Directory, Single Sign-On, and integrating security services. This role is pivotal in the migration of applications from on-premises to the AWS cloud environment for our federal clients. Responsibilities Architect and implement solutions for hosting Microsoft applications in AWS GovCloud. Set up and configure Active Directory and Single Sign-On solutions in AWS. Integrate security services to ensure compliance with federal standards. Lead migration projects involving Microsoft applications moving to AWS. Provide technical guidance and support to development teams. Collaborate with development teams to ensure applications are cloud-ready and adhere to best practices. Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the migration process. Conduct regular reviews and updates to migration plans to ensure alignment with evolving business needs and AWS capabilities. Identify potential challenges and compatibility issues related to cloud migration. Conduct unit and performance testing to ensure migrated applications function as intended within the AWS cloud. Prioritize security and compliance measures throughout the migration process. Communicate technical progress and challenges clearly to stakeholders. Document processes and best practices for reference during future cloud migrations. Require d Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience with hosting Microsoft applications in AWS, including Active Directory and Single Sign-On integrations. Knowledge of AWS security services and best practices. Proven experience in migration projects, particularly with Microsoft applications. Familiarity with federal compliance and security requirements. Strong understanding of AWS services and cloud architecture. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Skills & Experience: Experience working with federal clients is a plus. AWS Security Certification Security + Certification Clearance Requirements U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
