Automation Tester Job
Pointe has an immediate need for a highly motivated Software Automation Tester. The applicant must be able to pass a Federal Suitability Check for a position of public trust. The applicant will be supporting a newly awarded government contract- DCPS - supporting the Social Security Administration. This is a multi-year contract located in Woodlawn, MD. We are teaming with a work share partner that supports Lockheed Martin. Citizenship not required- we can work on C2C basis. Necessary skills Knowledge in designing, implementing and maintaining software test automation test frameworks/solutions, experience using HP Quick Test Professional Ability in QuickTest Pro (QTP) and Quality Center (QC), design and implementation of QTP test frameworks. Experience in mapping qualifications to test cases and the ability to come-up with ideas to enhance the existing process. Experience developing test data sets using database command line utilities and tools. Strong experience with manual testing, testing tools, writing test plans, and reviewing test cases. Ability to deliver documents like TestPlan, Reports etc. with high-quality. Proven team member with strong people skills possessing a proven skill to handle multiple projects with varying priorities. Experience creating and implementing test environments for a client-server or distributed system involving relational databases. Must be able to navigate in a Windows workstation setting, and have excellent knowledge of the Ms office (Ms word, Ms excel, and PowerPoint). Superior verbal and written correspondence skills are critical. Applicant should be able to adapt to a changing environment.
