The role involves working in a dynamic setting with diverse tasks including direct client communication, drafting, strategizing, and preparing estate planning documents, as well as probate court appearances. Manage a large caseload of Estate Planning, Trust Administration, Probate, and Medi-Cal Benefits Planning cases. Draft trusts, wills, estate plans, probate court petitions, and similar documents. Provide high-quality work products, meeting client expectations and deadlines. Duties:Handle cases from inception to conclusion.Independently make decisions with supervision from the Managing Attorney.Personally appear in probate court hearings.Develop strategic approaches and provide leadership to team members.Maintain consistent communication with clients and relevant parties.Report on caseload at weekly meetings.Prioritize, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work well in a fast-paced environment.Lead Paralegals and Support staff effectively and efficiently. Requirements:5+ years of experience in Estate Planning, Trust Administration, Probate, and/or Elder Law.Distinguished academic record from an accredited law school.Licensed with the California State Bar.Certified Specialist - Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law preferred.Familiarity with a variety of estate planning concepts, practices, and procedures.High proficiency in computer skills.Relevant experience in civil litigation, real estate law, tax, and/or business law encouraged. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Certified Specialist - Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law preferred. Skills:Excellent interpersonal, writing, and analytical skills.Ability to manage large caseloads effectively.Strong client service orientation.Leadership and strategic thinking capabilities.Technologically proficient and digital-oriented.
