Let's change the world. In this vital role, you will be a part of a fast-paced, integrated, and interactive research group exploring therapeutics for immuno-oncology programs. You will be responsible for generating and communicating pharmacology data to support the progression of oncology and immunotherapy research programs. In vitro work includes a range of cellular assays as well as molecular and biological techniques to help interpret in vivo observations In vivo work will include handling techniques such as tumor implantation and measurement, oral, sc, and iv dosing, and blood and tissue collection Operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment, accurate, timely record-keeping and data analysis Designing and conducting in vivo and in vitro studies Win What we expect of you We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The qualified professional we seek is a researcher with these qualifications. Basic Qualifications: Master's degree and 1 year of laboratory experience Bachelor's degree and 3 years of laboratory experience Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Biology, Cell Biology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, or a related subject area and 4 years of scientific laboratory experience Research experience in tumor immunology or cancer biology Flow cytometry and multi-parametric analysis (5+ colors) experience is desired Research experience with preclinical models of cancer and immuno-oncology Hands-on experience with in vivo bioluminescence imaging (BLI) Previous drug discovery experience Experience administering drugs through various routes Experience collecting blood and tissues for downstream analysis Hands-on experience with molecular, cellular, and ex vivo biological techniques and assays Attention to detail, translating into high-quality results Thrive What you can expect of us As we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for our teammates' professional and personal growth and well-being.Amgen offers a Total Rewards Plan comprising health and welfare plans for staff and eligible dependents, financial plans with opportunities to save towards retirement or other goals, work/life balance, and career development opportunities including: Comprehensive employee benefits package, including a Retirement and Savings Plan with generous company contributions, group medical, dental and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, and flexible spending accounts.
