First Baptist Church of Tellico Village (FBCTV) of Loudon, Tennessee is seeking anAssociate Pastor of Worship Ministries. This position is responsible for providingleadership in our worship ministries, including choirs, orchestra, pianist/organist, praise andmedia teams. The positions focus is to seamlessly blend traditional hymns with modernChristian music during Sunday worship services.Requirements Summary:1) Bachelors degree or higher with at least 10 years of work experience in leadingSunday worship services.2) Must possess a vibrant and solid Christian faith with continued growth in the grace andknowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit in all ministrypursuits.3) Able to lead Sunday morning worship services utilizing our choir, orchestra, andworship team in guiding our congregation in worship.4) Must have a proven work ethic, successful leadership skills, and skill to teach God'sWord.5) Able to plan, select, organize, practice, and execute a worship script in conjunctionwith the Sunday sermon and/or the weekly Bible focus.6) Have a heart to work with and disciple a congregation of mostly retired people.7) Besides Worship duties, there will be an expectation of an additional ministrycomponent to help balance our current pastoral staff.About our Church: FBCTV is a vibrant, active church and quite unique in that the churchmembership has people from more than 35 different denomination backgrounds. We aresituated in a major retirement area, hence we have very few young couples or children in thecongregation. The median age of our church membership is around 70 years old. We havegrown to 400 members since our beginning in 1997. FBCTV is affiliated with the SouthernBaptist Convention and aligns with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. FBCTV is acongregational church and Church leadership resides with the Lead Pastor and theLeadership Council, which consists of 13 volunteer ministry team chairpersons. Besides ourLead Pastor, our pastoral staff includes a full-time Associate Pastor of Discipleship and full-time Associate Pastor Worship Ministries (this opening). We have had 3 building programsand we are debt and mortgage free.About our Mission Field: Our members reside in lakeside retirement communities nestledin the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. These communities surround Tellico Lake. Demographic analysis of our area reveals a population of about 13,000 and growth isexpected to be 5% over the next 5 years.
