Assistant Site Manager required for Main Contractor covering sites in Surrey and Greater London. Are you a proven Assistant Site Manager looking to take your career to the next level? Randstad are hiring for a national Main Contracting Construction Company looking for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to be based on a projects in Susinteraction and Surrey. With 6 projects starting in the next 4 months the successful candidate could be based on either a new build Education project in Surrey close to the M25, various local authority framework new build projects or new build Care Home schemes in the Surrey area. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Site Manager in the overall management of construction sites. Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations. Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and labour teams. Ensure project progress aligns with the construction schedule. Manage and resolve on: site issues and challenges in a timely and efficient manner. Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment. Collaborate with the project team to ensure all aspects of the project meet quality standards. Assist with cost control and budget management. Qualifications: A degree or diploma in construction management or a related field is preferred. Previous experience working with a Main Contractor, working on projects A valid drivers license.
