Assistant Restaurant Manager Contract: Full-time Reporting to: General Manager Job Description We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused individual to join the team as a Front of House Supervisor / Assistant Restaurant Manager. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our front-of-house area, including the restaurant, bar, rooms and all customer service areas. Responsibilities: - Supervise and coordinate the activities of front of house staff in accordance with the agreed standards- Assist in the training and development of staff on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards. - Ensure that all staff are providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere. - Monitor and manage the bookings schedule to ensure adequate coverage at all times. - Handle customer inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner. - Assist with resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise between front of house staff and customers. - Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of front of house operations. - Maintain knowledge of company products, services, and promotions to effectively assist customers. - Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the front of house area, including the reception and lobby areas. - Monitor and manage inventory of supplies and equipment required for front of house operations. - At sites with letting rooms, when necessary, assist in housekeeping duties Requirements: - Education or training in hospitality or customer service is a plus. - Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospitality or customer service setting. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong leadership and supervisory skills. - Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive customer experience. - Proficient in using computer systems and software, including.
