The position entails direct client interaction, thus requiring strong verbal and interpersonal skills.Duties:Provide legal counsel and support on matters related to asset management, including open-end and closed-end mutual funds, private investment funds, and registered investment advisers.Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements pertaining to asset management activities.Collaborate with clients to develop strategies and solutions for complex legal issues.Represent clients in negotiations, meetings, and legal proceedings as needed.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Law, Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Active license to practice law in the state of Colorado.2-5 years of experience in asset management, preferably within a law firm setting.Proficiency in corporate and securities laws related to mutual funds, private investment funds, and investment advisers.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Certifications:Active license to practice law in Colorado.Skills:Expertise in corporate and securities laws affecting asset management.Exceptional writing and advocacy skills.Ability to conduct thorough legal research and analysis.Strong interpersonal and client management skills.Proficiency in drafting legal documents and agreements.Negotiation and problem-solving abilities. This is a large Denver firm with strong roots in the Rocky Mountain region. This firm has consistently been ranked one of the top business law firms in the Denver area; however, the firm also does numerous other types of work apart from business law.
