Let us explore this together For an overview of our benefits here at SABIC, : yoursabicbenefits Job Summary The Analytical Science department is part of the SABIC global Corporate Technology and Innovation (T and I) organization, with multiple global locations. The analytical science organization in North America provides extensive analytical expertise in the area of advanced chromatography, spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and microscopy to support T and I programs across Strategic Business Units, delivering innovative solutions for the circular economy, in automotive, healthcare, building and construction, electronics and other markets. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, creative and highly skilled analytical professional with broad knowledge in instrumental analysis. You will use your expertise to be part of this exciting adventure acting as a liaison between the Analytical Science team and SABIC R and D. As a member of the Analytical Science team in Mt Vernon, your main objective is to operate state:of:the:art NMR equipment. You are also expected to run routine hands on analytical tests in gas chromatography, liquid chromatography, GPC, ion chromatography and mass spectrometry. The role will also focus on executing and coordinating analytical tests within the analytical team, across multi:functional teams, and with external collaborators to provide effective analytical support to product development and process optimization. This job is located in Mt Vernon, IN, USA. How You Can Be the Impact stylemargin:bottom:13.0px:: Prepare samples for liquid NMR analysis by using various sampling methods.: Apply advanced NMR analysis techniques including 1D, 2D as well as low field NMR to evaluate the molecular structure, chemical composition of complex polymeric systems or small molecule additives.: Design and execute both novel and routine experiments using chromatography
