As a Data and Business Intelligence - Affordable Non-State School Report Intern , you will support the continued build-up and maintenance of the Edu Finance Business Intelligence and research infrastructure, including collecting data from external sources to update and improve an existing key report, the " Affordable Non-State School Report. " RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Collect third-party data from UNESCO and other sources to update the " Affordable Non-State Schools report" using Excel and Word. Support with the maintenance of data collection tools that are used by all Edu Finance departments, E. g. Fulcrum, Chalkboard Education, Google Forms Support with the management of integrations of external data sources into the Edu Finance database, E. g. APIs, data pipelines, Microsoft Flow, Data Factory Assist with administration of the Edu Finance SQL database on Microsoft Azure. Assist with data quality control of existing databases. Support with the creation and maintenance of dashboards and reporting tools across several departments Assisted with generating new analyses for key insights, research, and other publications. Check that dashboards and data collection tools accurately reflecting the status of the program Assist with presentation of analysis and data reports to the Edu Finance team and other stakeholders QUALIFICATIONS Must be enrolled in a credited college graduate or undergraduate program in data science, engineering, or other quantitative field research. Previous experience with Microsoft Excel, SQL server, and Python preferred. Knowledge of data pipelines and entity relationship diagrams is preferred The ideal candidate will have a passion for data analysis and the ability to use data to tell a story to convey an important message An understanding of and a commitment to advancing the mission and core values of Opportunity International.
