Position Summary : Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, the Accounts Payable Clerk will provide day-to-day support to the overall functionality of the team with a focus on processing of vendor invoices accurately and timely manner. This is a contract role starting in May until the end of August. The Schedule is Monday to Friday Day Shifts position TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Accurately process vendor invoices and hourly employee expense reports in a timely manner Reconciliation of vendor statements Filing accounting documents Retrieval of documents selected for audit review Provide cross functional support to the finance team as needed REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Currently pursuing post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similarly related programs preferred Positive attitude Detail oriented with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy Good communication skills Eager to learn, self-motivated and flexible Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook and Teams Darling International Canada Inc. is committed to a workforce that reflects the diversity of the communities where our facilities are located.
