The Role: As an Accounting Technician / Accountant, your role involves supporting client accounting and ensuring tax compliance while managing a portfolio for both personal tax and business clients. Responsibilities: Prepare and review accounts for sole traders, personal tax returns, company accounts, and corporation tax returns. Offer VAT advice and ensure compliance with regulations. Uphold high professional standards through ongoing training and access to CPD programs. Coach and develop junior staff for improved performance. Engage in broader practice activities as needed. Maintain open communication with the team and address any issues found. Foster strong professional relationships with clients and colleagues. Requirements: Previously worked as a Chartered Accountant or in a similar role. Prior experience in accounts preparation within an accountancy practice. AAT or ACA / ACCA qualified.
