We’re looking for a passionate, driven and energetic student to join our team for as an Accounting Co-op Clerk, located in our Head Office in the beautiful city of Guelph, ON. This is a 4 month co-op opportunity beginning in January 2024. Job Description Looking for a chance to make your mark in a fast-paced, professional and fun environment? As the successful candidate you will support the Skyline Residential Accounting team in drafting and/or amending key processes and related documents, while performing accounting and clerical tasks related to our shared goal of creating a superior investment opportunity for our investors and providing accommodations of choice for our valued residents. What we look for: A go getter with a thirst for learning that isn't afraid to take on challenges. Knowledge of accounting software (Simply, Accpac, Quick Books, Yardi, etc). An understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs. A team player with the ability to multi-task and stay detail oriented while providing support to the the team with day-to-day operations. A go getter - you don't wait for work to come your way and you always keep busy Someone that identifies with Skyline values and will act with PRIDE ( P rofessionalism, R espect, I ntegrity, D rive, and E fficiency). Enrolled in Post-Secondary Accounting Degree program with a co-op component to complete required.
