Here's the role The Accounting Associate supports the Finance Department in its objective to provide timely, accurate and reliable financial information for management and board decisions. This role is focused on being the first control over the company assets through compliance with policies and procedures, and ensuring well-organized, effective, and efficient financial operations. Reconcile basic general ledger and vendor accounts, identifying, investigating, and solving discrepancies. Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring authorization and accounting policy adherence, accuracy, and timeliness. Support the timely preparation and successful conclusion of audits through document preparation/retrieval, responding to auditor requests, and complying with audit procedures related to the role.
