Behavior Technician (RBT) San Rafael No experience needed! (Must have a completed Bachelor's degree) Hourly Rate $29 - $30 per hour Job Type Part-time Mission Statement Our Mission is to provide unique and individualized ABA-based therapy to individuals with neurodivergent conditions and behavior disorders. Through compassionate and humble treatment, we strive to teach significant milestones to each learner to promote independence. We evaluate and modify systems to work in the best interests of our learners and make innovative and data-based decisions to uphold our values and principles. Our goal is to replicate a model of quality services across counties and regions throughout California, while empowering our team through collaboration, compassion, and growth. About You --- You are interested in Psychology, Child and Adolescent Development, Early Childhood Intervention, Behavioral Science/Health. --- You are open to positively impact a family's life --- You are patient, kind and nurturing --- You have an interest in furthering your career in ABA. Benefits --- Health, dental, and vision benefits, paid holidays and PTO for BTs who work a minimum of 25 hours per week --- Paid Sick Time off for all employees --- Up to 50% tuition discount through National University for Masters Degree with career development opportunities --- We cover the cost for RBT certification --- Company issued Samsung tablet --- Paid client cancellations --- Mileage and drive time reimbursement in between client sessions Requirements --- Bachelor's Degree Completed --- Must be available Mon-Friday 3-8pm --- Commit to a consistent schedule with clients --- English fluency required --- Bilingual in Spanish preferred, not required --- Strong communication and documentation skills --- An upbeat and creative attitude to efficiently engage with clients through play-based therapy --- Patience and passion to serve clients of varying ability --- Ability to complete job's physical demands such as lifting children up to 30 lbs, frequent sitting and standing, kneeling, and running with children Roles and Responsibilities --- Delivering ABA treatment programs developed by a BCBA --- Providing direct client care in a 1:1 setting in the client's home --- Working with clients & families to implement client treatment plan --- Attending staff meetings, training, and other meetings as requested --- Completing daily data collection in a detailed and timely manner Conditions of Employment --- Ability to obtain and maintain criminal record clearance through the Department of Justice --- Must have a valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and proof of auto insurance --- Must adhere to all federal, state and local laws/legislation as applicable as well as HIPAA laws and regulatory agencies --- Must attend all BTA required training --- Must pass health screenings, obtain vaccinations and clear TB testing per company policies --- Ability to obtain and maintain CPR certificate --- Must have the following immunizations: Rubella (2-series), Rubeola (2-series), Mumps (2-series), Varicella (2-series), Hepatitis B (3-series) (Declination acceptable), Pertussis (Tdap) (Declination acceptable), Absence of Tuberculosis (TB) Additional Information BTA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
