WHAT YOU NEED: A valid 310T or 310S Licence in good standing Valid Driver's Licence Practical experience in preventative maintenance practices (school bus experience is an asset) Working knowledge of Municipal, Provincial and Federal safety provisions Ability to work in a team-based, collaborative work environment To pass criminal and vulnerable sector search background checks WHAT YOU DO: Reporting to the Shop Forman, a 310T or 310S Licensed Technician (Mechanic) is responsible for the day-to-day preventative and post incident repairs of a large fleet of commercial vehicles. This fast paced, but diligent role will diagnose and carry out all repairs for mechanical issues and problems discovered in various commercial School Buses and civilian class vehicles. The incumbent will maintain a strong sense of customer service while interacting with various stakeholders including, School Bus Drivers, Dispatchers, Managers, Peer Mechanics, Apprentices and Governmental Agencies.
