We are assisting state parties by collecting resumes and applications for key roles to help elect Democrats up and down the ticket. We are looking for highly motivated, passionate, and talented state Press Assistants to help support state earned media efforts. We are looking for folks with a variety of backgrounds and experience and are dedicated to building a team that looks like America. If you are interested in a state Press Assistant role for the 2024 election cycle, please submit your resume below. These positions are based in battleground states across the country and require in-person work. Job Description: Monitoring the news in the state, drafting daily press clips, and flagging relevant news stories Tracking incoming press inquiries Assisting drafting written materials Staffing and assisting with logistics for press events throughout the state as needed Managing press lists Other duties as assigned Preferred Skills & Qualifications: Hardworking and eager to learn as part of a fast-paced team Excellent writing skills Strong organizational skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks at once Willing to relocate to a battleground state Due to FEC regulations, only U.S. citizens or U.S. green card holders are eligible to apply for this role.
