Summary Seeking Instructors for K-12 for academic instruction ( no Pre-K ) to students at small, private school. Bi-Lingual a plus! Candidates must have minimum qualifications to be considered. This position works closely with Admin and other teachers to develop individualized education plans for each student in attendanceThe candidate must be able to get along well with students, teachers, staff and parents!This school works with children who may have a diagnosis of High Functioning Autism, ADHD, or other Communication Disorders. All children are Independent but have varying learning styles. Bachelor's Degree and/or College Credits mapped to concentrations will apply in this role.This position is ideal for a Recent Graduate , College Senior , Student-Teacher earning Education practicum credits for College in areas of Math, History and Science.This position requires - Strong professional presence at all times when dealing with students, staff and parents Ability to wear a mask, gloves and use cautionary techniques throughout each working day, M-F (no exceptions) Ability to genuinely engage with all students and promote positive encouragement All Instruction will be In-Person (this position is not Virtual) Duties Display student work Distribute instructional or library materials Encourage students Evaluate student work Maintain inventories of materials, equipment, or products Maintain student records Modify teaching methods or materials to accommodate student needs Monitor student behavior, social development, and current health status during the school day Monitor student performance during the school day Plan experiential learning activities Mentor children Provide transparency with parents and staff at all times Maintain courteous, professional behavior when dealing with students, staff and parents *This flexible position will support students with tutoring of subject, teacher 1:1 assignments, Assistive device provisioning for our students. Tutoring of subjects in a 1:1 role may be assigned.
