This program includes environmental surveillance, control of mosquitoes at the breeding source, and targeted adult mosquito control. Each step of the process contributes to reducing the risk of mosquito borne disease.In support of this commitment, we seek a passionate and experienced individual for Clarke’s seasonal Call Center position.Call Center Representatives are responsible answering the Mosquito Hotline, documenting resident questions and complaints and dispatching calls to the appropriate party.Multiple positions are available. No prior background is required. Paid training is included! Shift: Monday- Friday, Shifts vary between 8:00am to 6:00pmPay: $10.00 per hourSeasonal Benefits Available!Overtime opportunities available!Position duties and Responsibilities:- Applicant must be comfortable performing assigned duties in an office environment (where lighting and temperature is controlled) as well as function effectively in a very high energy environment- Documents daily work activity to ensure completion of customer contracts- Responsible for making sure safe work practices and procedures are followed at all timesNecessary background:Successful Applicant Must- Must be proficient in customer service, data entry and computers- Documents all customer complaints and/or questions and accurately enters the details into computer data base- Have a current drivers License with an excellent driving history- Must be available to work Monday- Friday, 7:00am- 4:00pm or 9:00am - 6:00pm- Communicate effectively in English in both written and verbal forms- Expertise to sit and answer phones for extended periods of timeOther Qualifications- Posses a high-school diploma or equivalent with high-school level math skills- Communicates questions, complaints and/or issues to appropriate supervisor or company representative- Answers all incoming calls to the hotline in a courteous and professional manner- Must be 18yrs of age or older- Must be able to work through the end of our 2013 season (September/October)We offer a team atmosphere where each individual can and does make a difference.
