Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionStevens Industries is looking for skilled CNC Machine Operators to cut, band, and drill cabinet parts for production. A machine operator needs to possess attention to detail and a willingness to learn. On-the-job training is vital to the success ofa machine operator and allows for the potential to become a senior operator. Being a team player is essential since all tasks require close collaboration with co-workers. Ability to troubleshoot the machine to maintain efficiency and quality of product is important. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Set up machine for production2. Adjust and control machine speed setting3. Feed raw material or parts into semi-automated machines4. Ensure parts are correct compared to drawing and make corrections/adjustments as needed5. Check for any mistakes or flaws in parts6. Maintain records of units produced7. Keep production flowing by ensuring parts are complete8. Ability to be a good team member and contribute to a team environment.Requirements1. Preferred machine operating experience2. Ability to read blueprint and computer programs3. Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools4. Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings5. Mechanical aptitude and good math skills6. A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach7.
