As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of a group of Web Hosting Administrators both local and remote (offshore). Part of this will be to manage and organize project assignments; resource allocation based on forecasted demands business needs, and prioritizes work for yourself and reporting staff. You will also be required to maintain both a technical and business relationship with the Application teams to better understand and deliver on requested projects. You will participate in the initial project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and system architects to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution. You will be expected to participate in environment reviews; ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined archit ectural specifications.
